PORTRAITS
As an exam, we had to do a portrait of one of the three models that posed for us. We had 7 periods of class to work on it and only 7 (we couldn't bring the drawing back home).
I choose to do the portrait of Megan, because I really like the beauty of asians orgins and she had beautiful long hair that I wanted to draw.
She posed seated on the table, the face looking down to her computer/phone.
So I decided to take the angle mid-face mid-side but more side than faced because I think I can do the nose better from the side than faced.
I started drawing then on a rough paper the main lines.

I changed the contrast of the picture to see where was the brithness and the darkness
Then I also changed the picture to black and white to know on my drawing what parts where darker (for example if the skin has to be darker than the shirt)
So I kept drawing since I had that precious help for the shades. I did more details about the face too.
